CANCELLATION OF THE EVENTS ON 29.11. & 30.11. AND 06.12. & 07.12.

The opening of parts of Marienburg Castle last weekend has shown that there is an overwhelming public interest in visiting the site.

The response from visitors to the partial reopening of Marienburg Castle was overwhelming. This positive feedback then spread rapidly through the media and social networks. The Marienburg Castle Foundation had not anticipated this level of response.

The anticipated influx of visitors cannot be managed by the foundation due to local conditions and traffic flow to the castle. Given official regulations in the castle/courtyard, and above all out of concern for the safety of people and property, the announced openings for the coming weekends must therefore be cancelled.

The foundation is aware that this will cause great disappointment. However, it will use the experiences from last weekend to develop concepts for the 2026 summer season that will allow as many interested people as possible to visit. We therefore ask for your understanding regarding this measure.
